Have you noticed that your boiler is leaking water? If so, you might need to be very careful about how you use it and approach it. While a leaking boiler is not in itself immediately dangerous, there are some issues that might arise if you continue to use the boiler while it is leaking. The first port of call should always be to contact us at your convenience so that we can look at it for you.
Practically, there are quite a few things that might be causing your boiler to leak water. It might be a problem with the automatic air vent or seal around the pump that pumps the water around your home. Or it could be that joints have become loose, which is something that can easily happen over time as a normal consequence of wear and tear. In either case, it’s relatively simple for us to fix and won’t take long at all.
On other occasions, the cause might be more serious. It could be something wrong with the temperature control valve, pressure relief valve or expansion vessel in which case it may need replacing. Otherwise, you might find that you have boiling water coming out of your taps at all times, which is obviously far from ideal. There might also be a problem with the boiler’s water pressure, which we can fix up too.
